What Does it Do: Quicksilver is so awesome and useful that it is hard to describe. It made is self know as an app laucher with snazzy Quartz Effects, and has evolved into so much more with features like: file manipulation, clipboard management, searching, text editing, and pretty much anything you can think of. It rearranges the interface into three vertical columns – so the message pane is to the right of the message list, rather than below.
